The compressor operates with 0-9 dB gain and 5-20 dB threshold range, which means you can nicely tighten up vocals or bass without overdriving. The built-in DSP has 10 effects: vocal, small and large hall reverb, echo, flanger, plate, chorus, rotary, tremolo – all preset for guitar and vocals. Every channel has an AUX send, so you can easily build a monitor mix. If you’re putting together a small setup with a few mics, synth, laptop – and you need effects too – then the MX6FX is more than enough.
